Blue Blood Tracker’s origin stems from crime scene investigation. Its purpose was to detect blood traces for forensic purposes. Now it has a new use in the hunting field. As the name implies, it will help you track downed game when the blood trail becomes slim.

I admit it. I’m a cell phone addict. As a wildlife photographer, outdoor writer, and cinematographer, my office is my phone. Add on the fact that I have a wife and three daughters and it becomes very important to me to have a good phone service. Last year I decided to spend several months researching products that may not be well known to all sportsmen and incorporate this information in my upcoming outdoor articles. In doing my research I found a company named Smooth Talker that claimed they could improve cell phone reception dramatically. Everyone that uses a cell phone has had to live with the loss of signals, limited range, and frequent static that makes it impossible to carry on a conversation. This looked like a great product but I must admit I was very skeptical that it would work. After successfully using SmoothTalker in my tent camped at ten thousand feet in Utah, in the deep north woods of Saskatchewan, and in an area in New Mexico where the outfitter had to drive fifteen miles to receive a usable signal, I have to say that this product is a must have for any one that travels outside the major areas of phone coverage. The SmoothTalker functions by amplifying an existing signal. It will not work in areas were there is no phone service.
